Bronwen Iferd creates an intentional space that brings together;
Courageous self –expression with honest connection to oneself and others to assist in moving beyond the challenges we may face, towards a place of growth, understanding and authentic living.

She facilitates a supportive setting for individual adults, teenagers or children in one-on-one work as well as her extensive experience in working with groups.

She honours the wisdom within every person, at whichever stage of life and combines her training as a Transpersonal Art Therapist and Sandplay Practitioner to work with those that feel blocked or stuck, unable to move forward in their life in ways that feel truthful and meaningful.

We are all creative beings & by accessing our very own ‘creative voice’ it allows us to communicate beyond words. It is a language that is inherent in its truest nature. Art Therapy & Sandplay therapy allows us to work with image and symbol that bypasses the rational, egoic mind as well as our defences to effectively access deeper areas of the psyche for positive, effective change.

Bronwen is passionate about the connection with mind, body, soul & spirit as equal contributors to our overall wellbeing. It was only after deciding to leave a career as a Graphic Designer and pursue Art Therapy, when she realised these connections were something that was lacking in her own life. Since then, her life has changed in the most profound ways as a direct result of these effective methods of transformation and growth.

She brings her experience working in mental health to her private practice and has specialized in supporting individuals experiencing a variety of challenges including, anxiety & depression, grief & loss, low self-esteem, stress management, feelings of overwhelming /extreme emotions.

Bronwen draws strength and inspiration from Nature and incorporates that within her therapeutic framework. This has naturally filtered out into her workshops and can be an appropriate resource when working with individuals.

Recently, she has been drawn to develop a program specifically for school age kids. ‘Art is a SUPERPOWER’ - Kids wellbeing & Creativity for empowerment.
Art can be a powerful resource in life and these groups are intended to provide space for kids to explore that. Here, they get to be adventurous with their own way of creativity, imagination and sense of self.

Bronwen holds an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy from the College of Complementary Medicine, and qualifications as a Sandplay Practitioner through Sandplay Australia. Her personal interest in Yoga also saw her complete a certificate in Trauma Informed Yoga. Which compliments the experience she has working with people who have experienced trauma.

She has a BCA Degree in Graphic Design and New Media and is an ever-evolving full time student of life, one with a passionate & adventurous spirit!
