New backpacker story of the week, is about Tobias a young German fellow 🇩🇪️
Bremen is a town in north west Germany with a population of about half a million residents.
A lot of tourists visit specifically to touch a bronze statute of the "Town musicians of Bremen" which is based on the popular 1819 fairytale recorded by the Brothers Grimm. Over time the front hooves of the donkey have been worn shiny as it's believed touching them is said to make wishes come true.

And now it’s finally time for me to leave Hillston... after more than 15 months!!!

I can’t describe the feelings I’m having about leaving this place.

I am extremely thankful about everything and all the amazing people from all over the world who have become my lifelong friends ���

The lovely hostel- I’ve never been to a hostel with this luxury: TV, fridge, freezer, shower, toilet, aircon - all of it to yourself and with a person of your choice!!

Another point are the hostel owner and the managers. Always when I needed some tips, help or words of wisdom I could go to Moose, Trevor and Paula!

Whatever it is they’ll help you.

Also a big big thank you goes to Joe and Marielle. I know that we young people can be (and I know we were) annoying AF!!! But thank you for being patient with us �� Moose: New eyes, new changes, you’re doing such a good job!

You’re not just the hostel manager, you’ve became a good friend. Going to miss you heaps!

I would love to write more about this place but then I would sit here till tomorrow and never leave!

Thank you for everything to Moose, Trevor, Paula, Joe and Marielle. You know that I’ll never leave Hillston for good, so see you guys at some point!!!
