Mel has a team of 10 support workers. Each one picked by her, managed by her and trained by her. Like Mel, her support workers are young women at the start of their studies or careers. From the outside there’s nothing particularly noteworthy about Mel’s Hireup support team but from the inside - from Mel’s perspective - the revolution is in the simplicity. In charge of her own supports for the first time ever, Mel’s finally got things just the way she wants them. Watch her story here.
