Hornsby Mall Medical Centre

First time visit to be very impressed by service provided. I moved from Chatswood ~7 months ago, and this is the first time to get sick after movement. Because I knew how long I should wait in ED, I decided to lie in bed and google nearby medical centres after taking panadol. I did not want to choose a random but wanted to find one I can stick to and thought this medical centre can be a great choice.

I was reviewed by Dr Mo, who is very attentive with friendly manner. - which means I am very satisfied with at least one GP.

From the previous review, I could see someone blamed receptionist as she failed to ring the person back because the person did not want to wait 15 minutes or more?! but as a person, who witnessed her high workload and her great effort, I think people should consider number of sick people flooding to the medical centre with and without book for urgent medical help; Human body is full of mystery so no one knows how long it would really take to be properly reviewed; Additionally, they cannot let other patients wait until this person coming back to medical centre after receiving a call even the receptionist really rang.

If someone complained that she/he brushed out from this medical centre because they wanted to meet appointment time, then I will leave this medical centre; however, if they advise me to wait because GP tries to provide the best practice to previous patient(s), I would be patiently wait until my name is called because that practice will be mine the next.

Once again, I was looking for a medical centre with great medical practice NOT a service centre with Hilton Hotel grade. If someone seek a medical centre with attentive and friendly manner, I would suggest to try this medical centre, which is hard to find from google or google map but patients are flooding into.

If someone wants more prompt medical centre maybe they can try Hornsby medical centre in Westfield with full of state of art (not been there but this is my impression after googling sleepless night)

Very friendly. Great with kids. Very helpful.we have been going ever since it oprned and it has got busier and busier but what doctor isnt. I expect to wait past my appt time.
Dr Rahman is great with the kids and they as lso like him. Receptionists have skways been happy and helpful.

To be fair Dr Rahman is a very good doctor, BUT!! Have to say the quality service of the receptionist is extremely poor. Poor organisation of booking & handling patients. I attended on time with being told a wait of 15mins or more. I kindly asked if she can ring when dr is ready so I don't need to waste time waiting. Said yes then not having any respond till I rang back to check in an hour! Was told dr is already seeing patients after me. With no sense of good customer service trying to cover her fault of forgetting to ring...to be honest, whoever needs to see doctors, mostly are sick or kind of urgent of something. Being handled in this way， totally can not accept!
