Hornsby Medical Centre

I called to arrange a second visit for a knee issue, they told me to just walk in on weekend to see same doctor who originally referred me for x ray. Turned out she doesn't work on weekends. And to see another doctor the wait time for walk in was one hour. Terrible service!

Service was disgusting. My boyfriend waited at the counter while 2 females were chatting to each other. One woman greeted my boyfriend, then continued on with her conversation with her co-worker. After she finished talking, she finally decided to consult my boyfriend. Her attitude was atrocious and when my boyfriend got fed up and left, her reply was 'Jesus Christ'. There witnessing the whole ordeal, I highly recommend visiting any other medical centre in Hornsby. I still cannot believe how terrible this service was.

I always find the staff helpful and polite. Dr Peter is very thorough and takes a keen interest in ensuring that he has done everything possible to achieve the best results for me. only gripe would be that it gets very busy sometimes however this is only confirmation to me that this is a good medical practice due to it's popularity.

A very good practice. Dr Loke is amazing. He always takes maximum time required to identify the situation and suggest the best solution. He is very professional and always goes the extra mile to do his best -- always having patients' best interest. He doesn't rush.

I strongly recommend to do an advance booking to see him as he is often booked out for the day. You will be happy with your choice!!

Worst experience ever. I was extremely ill when I went there for the first time. The staff there were not polite at all and even when I had made an appointment, was kept waiting over 15 minutes to see a doctor. Upon seeing the doctor, I was examined for less than 5 minutes and a prescription was printed. I took the medication home and started taking it, only to vomit violently that night. I called the medical centre the next morning and was informed that the doctor I needed to speak to would not be available until 2pm. I left an urgent message for the doctor to call back. At 3pm, I was unable to keep toast or even water down and called the medical centre again only to be told that the doctor was busy. At 4:30pm, I called a third time and threatened to call Fair Trading if I did not speak to the doctor. The doctor then came on the phone and told me to stop my current medication and that she would have a new prescription for me in the evening. I will never go back there again. It's the worst medical centre I have ever visited.

Pathetic doctors here. Got told that the doctor 'can't see' what was wrong with my throat, and to just come back another day. I mentioned it felt like I had an ulcer on my throat and he said to just gargle warm water IF that's what was wrong. Doesn't he know what's wrong since he apparently 'examined' me?
Ended up having to go to my local medical centre in Wyoming Central Coast at 7pm and the doctor picked it up straight away. Had bacterial tonsillitis in the end.
If you don't know how to diagnose a simple illness, don't be a GP. People are counting on you to help them when they're ill.

Lovely experience. Came in with serious head pains and was treated with lots of kindness and respect. I walked into the extremely busy waiting in and was welcomed with a warm smile by the reception ladies. The ladies helped my efficiently and ensured all my requests were handled. Afterwards I was promptly seen by Dr Ahmed who was a charming woman. She is probably one of kindest women I have ever met and she gave me the appropriate medication and set me off on my way. Thank you
