Great price and location, but I found the bed uncomfortable
The hotel is very conveniently located along the highway at Katoomba. The building is dated, but the rooms are going through an upgrade. There is open parking space behind the building. We didn't stay there due to a change of plans and the manager was very gracious in accommodating that and giving us a full refund. Seems like a happening place with activity nights (as per website)
Good beer, nice atmosphere. A bit dingy and old but it is a heritage building so that is to be expected
Live music here was brilliant. Friendly staff and heaps of fun
Loved Karaoke! This pub is our new Friday night pub
I stayed at the Gearin about 14 years ago. The atmosphere even on a Wednesday 2.00am ( not kidding ), was like a full blown party. The locals certainly new how to create an uplifting environment. Great memories. Katoomba Rocks!
