EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE...GREAT HELP FROM THE HOUSING DEPARTMENT

Overall, Liverpool Housing needs to make a big change to there staff. The odd few that are good get let down from the extreme disrespectful, selfish and just plain nasty ones that think they are better then everyone else. I'm not the sort of person to be rude nor do i take drugs but the recption lady in particular (don't know her name) with black hair and has a witch nose. She has purposley taken my mate and my number of so we sat there all day till shift change to get served bare in mind we got there at 9 am. Another time I went to hand in a form she looked at it told me to get a number which I had when she saw it she told me to sit down then called 4-5 people even though no one else there till after I sat down then called mine to tell me I need too sit down and wait to talk to someone. The worst thing was first time I ever went there I was homeless as had a fight with family and was in a tempory housing then had an appointment that day as could not go to the one couple a few days before as I was put in hospital and had an operation and waited for a good 2 hours and yet again saw people who came way after me get served and out the door before I finally got to see someone she was a bit older but still if you work there you should know what you have to do not make me sit there for 3 and a half hours to do one form and tell me I was at Granville in the end after 3 and a half hours they got someone else to take over her and she did what the other was ment to do in 20 minutes. Mind me but I left at 4.30 I got there 9 am from blackton refuge then had to go back to blackton get my stuff and then went to Granville when I was supposed to have been at Warrick farm.

My father a 75 year old very sick man with lung disease had a tree fall on his house 13 weeks ago in a horrific storm and has got nothing done to fix his home other than got the run around, wish they would know
What difference a priority and a normal up date was, as many in the same area are getting new kitchens there house painted when without sounding nasty they could wait until those who don't had a roof on there house was fixed.... it's just sad that they can't see that they are causing this poor old frail man major depression because of their lack of real work commitment..

This place is a cesspot of abysmal services and a cancer on tenants trying to get social housing. I am doing my bit to help and all I get is a non response or a lie. Next time I wont be so friendly towards their supposed help and make them do their bit which they have not done at all since I applied for a PRS last year and got upgraded to at-risk category as I have no where to live.

I have also missed out work today and have been waiting nearly two hours and my appointment number still hasnt been called up. I am offended, fed up and angry at these so called services who do not have a shred of empathy for the people who need help the most. Including everyone who has tried to do the right thing on here.

I'd have to agree with the majority of reviews posted here. The Good tenants are stuffed around by Housing and people can trash their properties, threaten others have nothing done to them. Maintenance is almost non-existent for 2017 standards, Communication between Authorities and tenants lacks any kind of professionalism and dignity. If you have a major problem with another tenant, Housing tell you to ring the Police, The Police in turn tell you to ring Housing (Housing are making the NSW Police to their dirty work for them). Just a question, how much Housing NSW staff and maintenance contractors are on the take pocketing government funds for work not done. You try and ask them that, they walk away refusing to talk to you. A Current Affair, Today Tonight, 2GB or the Daily Telegraph won't touch this issues, only want to talk about "people on welfare" etc etc. The West Ryde office is one of the worst with Ms Cottrell and Mr Troake 2 of the most corrupt individuals working within the department. Send Mr & Mrs Bailiff round to do an enema check on the whole stinking bureaucratic mess.

What can i say it just horrible service and treatment all round in every aspect.they are shameless and treat and expect humans to live like animals. The media helps them do this as they only report on bad tenants so the good tenants go un noticed to live in unmantained properties. ...horrible...

Im a DOH tenant,do not do drugs,do not cause any harm or problems for anyone i live around,Pay rent on time and i am ahead of rent by 4weeks,BUT OMG if you ever need anything done they take their all mighty time,Then you get he ones that are behind on rent,whom cause trouble that get everything to upgrades and everything,Like seriously,Maybe i should stop paying rent till someone fixes the house,BUT OH i'll probably get evicted right??..BLOODY JOKE~!!!!!!

The contractors Housing NSW have are totally useless and they lie about the work they supposed to complete when they don't even complete maintenance work. Housing NSW does not care and they treat their tenants like a joke & like they are nothing.

My experience has been of utter disbelief around 12 months ago the house i have lived in for over 11 years has had the roof tile capping needed to be re-rendered for over 10 years , my lounge room ceiling 12 moths ago leaked that bad it was sagging in most of the room down 30cms ,when i reported it an electrician came out 48 hours later and totally removed and disconnected the smoke alarm and light bulb socket and said some one will come to fix the roof , 10 months later a carpenter come out repaired the inside ceiling ,1 month later an electrician came put a smoke alarm in light socket , but no one had fixed the roof tile capping i have shown photo evidence of over 25 places on the capping which leaks with no response for repairs , no the date is 1/5/16 and guess what , the unpainted inside ceiling is dripping on my furniture , around the whole perimeter of the newly replaced gyp rock .
