Where do I begin.......Crowed, staff rude, dirty, over priced food, the pop corn so salty it makes you feel sick, no organisation of the crowd, tills always breaking just as your about to pay... the list goes on and on



But i think that about covers it for now

Turned up to watch a movie to be greeted by a work site. It was an absolute shambles. Charged full price to watch a movie in a construction site. Only one set of toilets (downstairs in Lux) were open, and the tiled stairs up to the cinemas were dirty, wet and slippery - seriously?? The place was full of construction workers working in around the customers and the place looked like a tip. Complete lack of OH & S. We had to the leave the movie after 20 minutes due to the construction (drilling) noise. The ticketing and door staff were nice and obviously suffering as much (or more) than we were. But it shouldn't have been open at all. Can't see us going back.

Decent cinema surrounded by nice restaurants and shops (so buy your snacks before you get in).. the theatres are often dated and the seats are uncomfortable but if you can get a cheap seat through the Hoyts - Optus deal then do it. Note there is a nice bar at the Hoyts so it's a good spot if you need a place to chill before your movie

Can I say how disgusted I was to show up at 7pm to watch a movie only to be told that cinemas are being refurbished and the only one available is the LUX cinema. Good one Hoyts, clever tactic to get more money out of your customers. A reduced rate of $32 doesn't cut it! How about offering at the regular rate and cutting your own losses? I was on my own and asked the manager to let me in at the regular rate and he gave some lame excuse that he can't alter the register! 👎

The customer service at the cash registers are appalling, the girl started off nice but when we got out drink it was half empty and when I went in to grab another straw cause I realise there was a hole in mine the girl grabbed the bucket of straws away from my reach and gave me a deathy. Like I just payed $35 for my combo and I can’t even get a decent straw with no holes ...
really hoping she didn’t overcharge us cause $35 for a half empty coke, a large popcorn and a choc top it I feel like I’ve never payed that much at events.
on the plus I’m happy they’re changing to reclining chairs soon!

Average cinema. People sitting infront can block your view, but luckily I came at night so it was quite empty and I could switch seats.

The discounted package that includes drinks and food is good though, about $20 for 2 persons, including drink and food.

Me and my friend were in the arcade next door when all of a sudden these two italian and greek boys jumped us and took all of our tickets. They then ditched us to go see despicable me 3, i blame broadway

Great atmosphere. Comfortable seats and friendly staff.

Cheap for students, staff are friendly, food available to take in is nice but pricey. I recommend taking the option of going to Hoyts luxs which offers great seats and very nice food. The 3D is very expensive however.

Each time we go to Lux the experience gets better and better. Great service, the new floor manager was very accommodating, and drinks/popcorn included.

Good seats and service let down by the food. The chicken karaage was so tough they might as well have oversalted some shoe soles and deep fried it. Event gold class still wins.

everyone loves cinema! every cinema isnt too crowded, the distance between the seats and the screen is just right and I got pretty cheap ticket being an Optus member 😀

The cinemas are absolutely appalling at night. Pop corn all over the floor spilled drinks on the carpet. Not a very pleasant experience

Not a bad cinema, everything is pretty good expect you need to spend your life savings to buy drinks and popcorn. Food is a rip off.
