I couldn't rate less than one star.. unfortunitly.

Took my son here for an appointment months back, for a referral to outpatient services. The GP sent the referral to the wrong location. After tracking down where the referral was sent I was told that it needed to be sent to JHH. I rang and asked the GP to RE send it, she forgot. I rang a week later and asked her to RE send it. She finally did and when I rang the outpatient services they stated I wasn't living in the area and needed to go to another service.

After waiting two more weeks until I moved to the area, I rang to update my address. They needed proof. So I needed to change my address on my licence, finally doing so two weeks after that and then ringing to ask if I can scan it and send it via email (The licence proof) I was told no. Even though they will scan it and the GP will see the scanned.. non physical version. I'm getting very frustrated about the run around I'm getting. They even wanted me to book another appointment so they can witness my licence and send off the new referral. Now I'm going to have to drive an hour for them to look at my licence for two seconds and hopefully send the referral .. for me to then drive an hour home. Waste of my time.

Worst practice I've ever been too, they are slow, poorly educated, and no compassion for people. People. Don't go here!!!!

Absolutely fed up with this practice! This is my account of my last & final visit to this practice!
I make my appointments for early in the morning. I arrive on time for my appointments & the surgery is meant to open at 8.30am. I could not tell you how many times I have waited outside in the freezing cold with my 2 young children because the receptionist who is at work on time doesn't have a key to the surgery, so we wait & wait (& by now it's after 9am) for my doctor who has the key.. So a call is made, another 20 minutes pass & finally we see said doctor but.... she drives straight past us & parks 100m down the road, she won't get out of the car.. she doesn't want to be seen by the 7 or 8 freezing patients & staff to be let in. So the poor receptionist who is also freezing has to run down the road after the doctor who is nonchalant & hiding in her nice warm car! So I'm thinking..that's odd, what's she doing??? Then my doctor speeds off at a million miles an hour in the opposite direction!! She's gone..! By this time I had already been waiting out in the cold for 40 or 45 mins, my kids & I were frozen & now very late for school !(again 😬) So inside we go & sit & we wait & wait.. I'm becoming more frustrated as this happens so often. My doctor finally decides to turn up around 1 hour late. She takes her time.. She does not apologise for her lateness. My time is unimportant to her. But I have things to do, children to get to school & on top of this I feel terrible which is why I'm at the doctors.

I come to this practice regularly & this doctor consistently arrives for work late & I mean really really late... It's usual for me to have to wait 45 minutes to an hour because she can't get herself to work on time!

Highly unprofessional! If had conducted myself in this manner whilst working I would not have had my job very long!

Now I don't normally write reviews on anyone but I felt something needed to be said. I can see reading through the other reviews here that many others have experienced the same level of unprofessionalism which isn't right & im sure for all the unhappy patients on here there are many more who don't speak up !

I'm not unreasonable, I understand that doctors run late because a patient may require a longer consultation but there are also others that are dealt with quickly. So for this reason I make one of the first morning appointments to avoid waiting. This doctor does not understand the meaning of the word "punctuality". She has not once been apologetic for her lateness ! She even threatened to call the police & have me removed from the surgery just because I had become frustrated at having to always wait so long !!!! OMG..!!!

So being on time for work is part of being a professional. Like everyone else, I have my limits & my patience is not completely boundless, in this case i need to speak up.

In terms of her medical care I'm also very disappointed. Over the past year my health has gone down hill.

When I ask for an explanation as to why she is requiring me to jump through a different hoop each week & why she is putting all these conditions & restrictions on me she won't answer me or just gives me a look of distaste & irritation & won't acknowledge my question.

I have felt disrespected by this doctor. When I ask her to explain why tthese requirements are being placed on me she threatens to stop my medical prescriptions that have been ordered by my specialist when all I am asking is for an explanation of why I'm having to do all these things, I'm not rude, always courteous & polite & very patient to this point.

I feel I've been judged & poorly treated & as a patient have a right to know & understand my medical care & rights.

At my last visit this doctor was seen by my 2 young children & several patients rolling her eyes at me when I tried to speak, another display of unprofessionalism, rudeness & arrogance.

The reception staff are always leaving because they're miserable & regularly complain about their jobs. The phone is often left to ring out. What more can i say...

User

They dont answer the phone.

Extremely unsatisfactory experience.
A few months ago, I had made an appointment online, to attend and have the receptionist tell me I didn't, showed the lady the confirmation and she explained I could rebook (without offering to squeeze me in, considering the fault on was their behalf).
Now after giving them another try they are "locked out of their surgery and it's 30 minutes after my appointment time." Unprofessional and disrespectful.

User

Wait time at this practice is atrocious! Have been a regular patient at this practice for two years and I can honestly say, I am yet to get in to see my GP under an hour of .

User

Very rude receptionist, told we didn't have an appointment, even thou we had written confirmation, she has zero confidentiality by giving another patient my Medicare card and drivers license,, cancelled my appointment due to her attitude and lack of respect for our privacy. Get your act together , you are loading new patients over the attitude of front office staff. Zero stars is more appropriate
