Hyams Beach

Beautiful white sand that squeeks underfoot. A great beach...one of Australia's best. Chinaman's beach next door is great too but perhaps not for families with small children...Parking is limited and it was good to see the local ranger booking cars parked illegally. Watch out for silly people driving erratically trying to get a park here.

Beautiful white sand and gorgeous turquoise coloured waters. However, the waves were too much. This is like a bay, so I expected calmer waves, if no waves at all. Also, parking was so hard to find. This area's council should know that this beach is well-visited, so create parking areas? Gee.

But a worthy and pleasant experience overall. This is the only beach in NSW to have white sand. So it needs a nod.

Came here to see the white sands after hearing it's some of the best in the world. The beach is truly beautiful, but was fairly small and crowded in places. Parking was a nightmare too! I enjoyed the beach, but wouldn't return. Nice to see, but not worth the trip unless you're already in the area for another reason. There's plenty of awesome beaches in Australia to choose from!

This place is beautiful.. loved it. Sand is a perfect white and you get to see the dolphin pods regularly
