Hyde Park Inn

Good location with great views of the city and hyde park. Close to public transport just across the road from the museum train station and there is a bus stop outside the hotel where you can catch the free 555 bus. The kitchenette really useful if you don't want to eat out every night.

Clean rooms. Sufficient amenities. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. A bit pricey though.

Is the relax zone from Sydney. So nice and clean. 100% recommended and do not forget to look after St Mary‘s cathedral or the Archibald fountain.

Great reception staff, very helpful and quick to respond. Found cleanliness in general not to the standards. There was a typical smell in the foyer. In room house keeping was not great. Elevator too slow.

Booked a Deluxe Family 5 room, once we checked in found out this only comes with 1 Queen Bed, 2 Single Beds and a day bed as the third single bed which they had advertised for this room. I approached the staff at reception only to be told that there was no difference in size of room. They did not budge to try and get us into the room we booked or give us a price reduction. Staying in this small, squashed room with no third bed for 5 nights with 3 big teenagers is just not acceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody else!

The room was very nice. Staff were friendly. We asked for them to clean our room. We got back to the hotel and they hadn't done anything but wash up. They didn't even take out the full bin and rubbish bag we had. They didn't replace the towels or make the beds or vacuum the dirty floor. We had to ask them to come back and do it again and then all they did was empty the bin.

No included toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, hair brush, floss or hair ties), facial tissues not refilled. Continental breakfast included is decent good. Not a place for those who wish to travel light and expect the hotel to provide all the basics, though the items they provide are decently good. I'm not sure this place could be considered 4 stars with those items missing, but the location is great, and the cleanliness seems pretty good. Newspaper in the morning everyday.

Supposed 4 star hotel, no slippers, no toiletries. No bathtub in the room we requested specifically for a 1yr old baby. Light continental breakfast included is good.

Great location. Have a family of 5 and its hard to find anywhere to stay but we all fit comfortably. close to most things. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Will stay again

Excellent central hotel within easy reach of train and bus station. Darling Harbour and a visitor information centre only 10 minutes walk away. Would recommend this hotel.

Good service. Room clean. Beds comfy. Mould in the bathroom, could be a lot cleaner. Complimentary breakfast was pretty average, cheap really,needs improving. Close to station. Great location. Bit overpriced, and we got this room on sale.

Clean and tidy rooms. Rooms are designed practical and stylish so you get a apartment feel to the room rather than a hotel. Great service and attentive staff. Really central and easy access to public transport. Had the budget room and was very happy with the room. I well advised about the room having no windows and if you don't care for a view, like me it's perfect. One of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in too. Definitely reccomend it and will definitely stay there again!

Large sized room, convenient, close to transport and good rates. Normally would give this hotel 4 stars. Negative is building happening next door so we had a jack hammer directly under our window until 10:30 pm. We put up with it, although would have been nice to have been warned by the front of house staff, who knew about the work going on. Hopefully, this is not a regular occurance.
