I can highly recommend the marsala bowl next door to the ibis (if you enjoy Indian food).
The food was delicious and the service was of high quality. Well worth the visit. World Square Shopping Centre is fantastic for small quick essentials and more wonderful restaurants. The Ibis needs bigger signage and to notify guests of the parking access across the road. Clean rooms, well air-conditioned and excellent blinds to block out the light. I would stay again now that we know how to find it 😊

Location is excellent and close to everything. Nice easy walk to and from Central station or town hall. Room was good enough for 2 nights with a nice comfy and nice size bed. Service was good. The only thing I disliked is they have the signs on the wall saying to leave your towels off the floor to use them again and they go and replace them anyway even though they're not on the floor! Very silly and not environmentally friendly like their sign suggests?!

Stayed for business. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the Duty Manager on around 8:00pm most nights and the young lady running the restaurant at breakfast time.
My priority check-in was excellent and quick. Especially as the lobby was filled with a bus load of tourists who had just arrived at the same time. There were no delays with check-in.
We did need to move rooms, as the first room did have a sewerage smell in it.
However, the duty manager was most helpful and moved us to a new room, with no issue.
The most inconvenient part of my stay was the room keys kept requiring reprogramming each day, as the elevator and/or room would not read the card.
A couple of negatives, but overall the stay was ok.

This was a perfect place to stay for a quick trip to Sydney when you are out and about most of the time. The location was central to public transport and easy to find. The staff were all very friendly and always prepared to assist, not that we required it. Our stay was made simple and fuss-free here. I would certainly return again. Thank you!

The room was clean and well maintained. The staff friendly. The breakfast was good. Surprised how quiet it was. We were given a wheelchair access room which we really appreciated because it gave the 4 of us a bit more room. It wasn't even noisy being near the lift.

I liked this place even though it was not like other Hotels built for real classy taste.
I only had one issue with it and that was the cost.
Just one night and it broke me. I couldn't stay as long as I wanted to. :(
The food was really nice and the staff were all amazing at front desk and eating area.
The staff rotating around were nice too.

The in-house foreign exchange service offers the best rates in all of Sydney. But! It's only available for hotel guests.

It's a good place to stay as well. It's in a convenient location, and just a short walk from train station. It's near/at China Town so there's plenty of cheap dining options nearby too.

The air conditioning didn't work properly, when reported that night it wasn't fixed from downstairs yet I wasn't advised as promised. It certainly was not dealt with in the 15 minute guarantee yet I had to pay for my room. The bathroom basin tap mysteriously released hot water on the cold setting, then eventually went to cold after jiggling the tap around. The reception area is nothing like your photographs - it's tiny with the so called bar just an addition to the reception desk. And there are no accessible power points near the bed to charge devices, particular phones which are now commonly used as alarms. An appalling stay.

Room was clean and bed was comfy, but aircon was too cold and the club below was very noisy on the Friday night. I think my room was directly above the dancefloor. The location was handy though and I can't fault the staff. I'd stay again.

User

Great location but hotel is a let down.
Rooms are tiny and lack the basics like power points in accessible places, USB charge points and space to put your belongings in the bathroom.
If you are looking for cheap and great location, this is the hotel for you but if you want something with a bit more style and friendly staff, go elsewhere.

User

The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom is in need of a refurbishment. The hotel is well situated and is close to restaurants and shops.
