Ibuild Our Future

'iBuild Our Future' is a bi-annual mentoring program which is offered to Undergraduate or Postgraduate students at University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, University of Technology Sydney, University of NSW and the University of Newcastle, who are studying either construction management, property economics, architecture or civil engineering since 2016. The program connects education with industry by pairing students with senior industry executives and provides students with a non-technical perspective on the market, cultural values and the right way to conduct business. iBuild is an initiative started by Greenwich Inspire. Greenwich Inspire is a not for profit company that provides leadership for community and industry initiatives of the parent company, Greenwich Associates. Greenwich Inspire aims to provide excellence within the COMMUNITY in which we live, in the INDUSTRY that we work in, and through EDUCATION to provide the platform for our learning. Since 2021, iBuild has partnered with Sydney University Civil Engineers (SUCE) to serve USYD students undertaking a degree within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and who specialise in construction management, structural, geotechnical, humanitarian, environmental, transport, project management and infrastructure. This year, iBuild has partnered with Built Environment Association (BEA) to serve UTS students from the Faculty of Built Environment including property economics, construction project management, planning & architecture. In 2022, mentees will also undertake a group mentoring 'HR Orientation prior to their one on one meeting with their mentor to educate them on how to communicate and represent themselves to senior executives. iBuild aims to develop an industry culture which is based on the service of others and in doing so, ultimately change the way the industry behaves in achieving quality outcomes and in delivering excellence.
