Great local market for those of us who live in the city! Great selection of both regular and premium products. I always buy Brie here and it's always great. They also have a great in store cafe with prepared foods. My favorite is the meat ravioli. Make sure you check the expiry date on the breads, though, as they can sit on the shelves a bit more than they should

Some products are cheaper than Coles. less crowded than Coles.

A clean and tidy little supermarket at the top of Oxford Street. It has got more specials since Aldi has opened up in the next block but still not that cheap. Basically I only go here if Aldi is closed or I'm getting something quickly before hopping on a bus.

MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS CHECK THE EXPIRY DATE
Those guys consistently put expired food (including dairy products) on their shelves, probably hoping to fool a couple of customers and get rid of their expired food. And they don't seem to be that surprised or sorry every time u catch them probably because they're used to that!

Solid city centre IGA. A little over priced as you would expect but a good range and a well presented deli make this a reliable local store. The self check outs tend to break down and so I suggest waiting for a human to serve you when you checkout.

Good trading hours, essentials are not bdly priced but a lot of specialty items that are expensive. Found the staff friendly and helpful.

Open late and conveniently located. Polite security guard.
