Iggy'S Bread

This bread is something beyond normal bread; it's unlike any we've had before, and it's amazing. Great bagels, too.

Hands down best bread in town. I'm a sourdough connoisseur and nothing tops there stuff. Lookout for the daily specials

All other breads are pale in comparison. I'm not even vaguely exaggerating. Do yourself a solid, try this bread. It is worth whatever it took to get to Bronte. Do yourself another solid and get in early, ie by 8am to make sure that first solid pays off. If you like seeds get one of the caraway seeded sticks and enjoy it with excessive amounts of butter and fresh tomatoe with salt and cracked pepper. Try the fresh country loaf with ricotta and honey. Make whatever whets your palette and let your senses be delighted by the best bread on the East Coast.

Best sourdough bread I ever had and the raisin pecan bread they make on Sundays is also amazing. They sell out pretty early, so go before 9am and be ready to queue for 10 or 15minutes (totally worth it).

Best bread I have eaten. Period. I recommend going for the loafs that are more charred. The crust is amazing. Enjoyed best with a thick layer of salted butter. Be prepared the queue. Get there before 8am to ensure you get there before they are sold out. Go for ye white sourdough and the raisin and pecan on Sundays.

Yeah bread can be just a simple staple.. This isn't what they sell here. The bread is simply a vessel for their love & passion, which that word is spread via the bread! It becomes pretty obvious after you first get involved. Thanks Iggy's! Right back at ya..

The best and most soulful bread I'm ever had. Going to the shop on a Sunday morning for one of their community cafe meets is like getting a big hug.

Ideally this review should stop there, but theres more to Iggy's bread than just bread ( although the bread is AMAZING!!) the family that run Iggys bread are not only true artisans of organic, naturally prepared adn expertly rafted breads, buns and bagels but they are also 2 of the nicest souls that you could ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Im sure they put love into their bread because it is that good and the reason why it usually runs out before lunchtime.

There bread is a pleasure to eat and worth the early morning drive across town.
