Il Nido - The Nest was built and opened by the Dell’Aquila family, drawing on inspiration of our family’s surname, meaning “from the eagle”. Originally consisting of Modern Australian cuisine, the menu’s focus would soon turn to the family’s Italian heritage, and Il Nido has been serving southern Italian cuisine to its many loyal patrons and guests for now over a decade. Our a la carte style of cooking ensures freshness of produce and flavours; our menu consisting of beautiful pastas, sensational seafood, seasonal specials; and of course our specialty, gourmet wood-fired pizzas, where we source Queensland Ironbark and Yellow Box timbers that provide an authentic taste you will not find anywhere else.
