Wow, would be one of the very best Club Bistros around the Illawarra these days, great food, well presented, backed up and served by very friendly staff, well done.

Stayed in Wollongong for two nights for work, my meal at Steelers was so good I came back the second night. The leagues club is pretty standard as far as footy clubs go and their is a nod to the history of the Illawarra Steelers but certainly the standout of my evenings was the food.

Completely overlooked by the under 40's crowd without kids this place serves up one of the best value for money meals you can find in the gong! Join the club and you can get amazing discounts like 2 for 1 seafood dishes on a Monday night which will see you get large portions of a scallop gnocchi (with prawn sauce) and a prawn and bacon chilli linguine for under $30. For those on a budget the fish and chips (where the tender fish is wrapped in crown nchybbatter and comes out sized almost larger than the plate),

Wednesday night sees the two for one deal move from seafood to the grill and after having searched for a decent steak in the gong CBD for nearly two years and considering myself a foodie - I was initially embarrassed to admit that this place gave me the best "rare" sirloin I have had for a long time, then I put my pride away and ignored the sound of families dinning or the pokies ringing at a win or even the super friendly staff who are not only efficient but who take pride in giving you a great meal at a more than decent price....and I enjoy the fact I'm having a fantastic meal with out the hipster price tag 😁

Great club close to WIN stadium. It is small so seating and long lines do become an issue on game day. The bistro is a step above. Have not had a bad meal here.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Our family enjoyed it a lot. Wish there were more activities for kids though.

Seafood two for one or grill two for one. The good is very high quality and far more than expected at a club. Our steaks were perfectly cook and the following week the seafood risotto was magnificent and followed by Indian curry prawns for a home made recipe from the chef. Excellent cooking will definitely be regulars
