Some good fishing tips...

Has all the necessary equipment and facilities for a relaxing family holiday

Clean amenities, nice pool, good camp kitchen and facilities for kids. Campsites are cosy, but flat and most a decent size.
Only concern is lack of security at waterfront, with local kids wandering around after dark. The park security do their best but it's a challenge for them.

I'm putting one star, only because 0 is not an option.
Most of the information in photos during the booking was incorrect (THEY DID NOT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISED US).

-The sofa was so dirty (we just covered to sit on it).
-The ground not clean
-We booked Poolside Villa with Spa at a high price but were surprised that the swimming pool was closed and there was no note about that during the booking.
- The Spa bath not like what we have seen in the pictures is just small.

Overall, everything need to update.
(don't cheat customers).

Friendly and helpful staff. My ute was busted and they were great while i took time to have a long holiday riding my pushbike around the lake. Beautiful views.

Our stay wasn't bad but we will never go back again. It was false advertising about a double storey place and in reality we got a very small cabin. The lady at the reception was rather cold and too direct to be working at reception. We stopped at the gate, she came out, starred and went straight back in.
We have two kids and the bed wasn't made in the bunk beds area. People who lives there permanently looks like on drugs and unfriendly.
Lastly, this is situated in Mannering Park, far from Lake Macquarie. Please do not use false advertising :(

Great Friendly Staff, Would Definitely Visit again!

Away from the maddening crowd, a quiet, peaceful park with beautiful views across the lake.

The park seems good and I'll give it two stars just for being a nice looking park. kiddie playground, pool, fully set up campers kitchen.
Infested with ducks. cockatoos squaking all the night. Was kept awake most of the night form the combination of birds, pool noises, what I think was the power plant not far from it and the nearby park lamp. Tent areas are heavily worn out.
Won't stay there again.

The morning wakeup-call form a mob of ducks all nibbling the edges of the tent was both infuriating and a little adorable

Stayed for the weekend, awesome place. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean amenities. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Residents very friendly☺ Can't wait to go back👍☝☝
