While I have never had a cake from Michelle, I am a huge fan of her and her website. She is obviously an extremely talented baker / decorator, and has tons of happy customers, but one of the most amazing things about her is the way she shares all her recipes with the world. Many bakers such as Michelle who develop their own amazing methods / recipes / techniques are very guarded with their research, but Michelle shares all openly. Not only is she a successful pastry chef and a gifted decorator, she is a wonderful TEACHER; she seems to love helping beginning baker / decorators perfect their work, in essence creating tons of competition for herself. But she knows she's that good, and is obviously confident in her work, and I'd say her gift to us is repaid back to her in good will. I have improved my work more in one month using her methods than I have progressed in 5 years of baking, and cannot thank her enough. All I can do is say THANK YOU MICHELLE, and offer my SINCERE BEST WISHES for much continued success both in your business and your craft. You are an angel! Michelle's cakes are the best cakes I have ever tasted. One of them was for my husband's birthday. The cake not only looked STUNNING.....but also tasted SENSATIONAL. Well...the outer layer was made of a sheet of chocolate which was folded into a cylindrical shape of about half a meter high and in it were pieces of chocolate cakes that tasted the most delicious; not too sweet, not too heavy, it was JUST RIGHT, with some perfectly whipped cream and some ferrero chocolates.
The second one was a cake in a shape of half a soccer ball. There were nutty, sweet, crunchy bits right underneath the thin layer of cake. It was just SUPERB!
I brought some of the left over cakes to work and the collegues just LOVED it. They were amazed.
I totally recommend Michelle's cakes.

I received a Mother's Day cake made by Michelle from Inspired by Michelle, as a surprise from my family. It was a yummy, chocolate mud cake covered with chocolate ganache and fondant with a beautiful, hand-made magnolia as a decoration. All the family voted it as the best cake they had tasted!!!!!!!!!! We will definitely be ordering more cakes from Inspired by Michelle for future special occasions. Highly recommended.
