User

Absolutely amazing hotel as you would expect from the Intercontinental. Room was large and modern, staff was friendly and a welcome dish of fruit was provided. Accommodated both my early arrival and late check-out.

User

Excellent location! 5 minutes walk to the Opera House, 3 minutes to Circular Quay and just beside the botanical gardens. The Pitt Street Mall is about 20-30 minutes walk away as well. We booked the room with a view of the harbor bridge and the opera house and it was priceless to have that view whenever we were in the room.
The concierge recommended a few runs which were very nice if you want to get some miles in while on holiday. I enjoyed the one across the harbor bridge and into north Sydney.
The lobby lounge/restaurant, Cortile is very beautiful. I would stay here again!

User

This hotel has literally the best bed I have ever slept on.

I love to bounce out of bed and get started in my day.

When I stayed in this hotel I struggled to get out of bed.

Checkin was great. They have a great roof bar as well.

User

Weekend seafood buffet lunch here is pretty average for a 5 star hotel and the price they charge. The only seafood on offer were 2 types of prawns, rock oysters, mussels and smoked salmon. The hot food bar also didn't have too many options. The dessert bar had lotts of options but were only average on quality. The highlight was the strawberry sorbet. If you are looking for a nice seafood buffet feast with great desserts, you are better off going to The Feast at the Sheraton on the Park down the road.

User

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I flew into Sydney to attend a performance at the Opera house and the location of this hotel could have been better. Service was friendly and efficient. Pillows and bed were a dream. Pool was heated clean with an excellent view of the harbour. Overall worth it for the price.

User

Wonderful Hotel with fantastic staff and facilities. If you can manage to stay with the intercontinental Club which gives you access to the 31st floor lounge area it is very worthwhile.

Access to the intercontinental Club means you can get breakfast included with your room Twilight drinks from 5-7pm including light refreshments an unlimited access to one of the most beautiful areas in Sydney with the most incredible view the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the harbour and the Opera House.

The rooms are a little small as is the bathroom hence why I haven't given it 5 stars, but access to the InterContinental Club makes it all worthwhile.

In room coffee pods is a nice touch but sound quality is not that great as we could hear doors banging, weights being dropped on the floor from the above gym and an early morning vacuum from the staff so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

User

We went for High Coffee and the girls enjoyed the coffee martinis! I got a non alcoholic drink which was no fuss and we had a vegan at the table and they brought a selection of fruits for her ! The interiors are gorgeous and the waitress was very polite and helped us take photos. Very friendly and would definitely recommend :) Also toilets on ground floor very handy and well kept! Comfy sofas. Parking is pricey so watch out for that.

User

Our stay at the InterContinental Sydney has been incredible. The gym is well equipped, the dining facilities are top notch, and the service is exceptional. The staff and the cuisine have really been the standouts here, and you can't beat the views from the club!

User

Buffet dinner had a great selection of seafood as well as other international dishes. Helpful and friendly staff. Very nicely furnished interior which made for a pleasant dining experience.

User

Great location near the Botanic Gardens. 10 minutes' walk up the hill from the harbour. This hotel has rooms with amazing views of the harbour bridge. High quality cafe, comfortable and generously proportioned rooms. Excellent service provided by all hotel staff during our stay. Would stay here again.

User

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

Good customer service and great meals.

Room was a bit small for what I paid but fantastic view of the harbour bridge and opera house.

Bathroom was dated and have seen better in 3 and 4 star hotels.

Bed was small for a king size. Looking at it, turned out to be 2 king single pushed together.

Overall good experience staying in the city as it's close to restaurants and other entertaining areas.
