ICC Sydney offers connections to local First Nations businesses by connecting clients with authentic cultural experiences and suppliers. This week we join in celebrating the rich history and culture we share here in Australia during NAIDOC week and look forward to hosting the official NAIDOC 2018 Awards Ceremony at Gadigal land, at ICC Sydney this Friday. #NAIDOCWeek #BecauseOfHerWeCan #SupplyNation

ICC Sydney stands on Tumbalong, the land of the Gadigal clan of the Eora Nation. The Eora people called Darling Harbour, Sydney ‘Tumbalong’, meaning a place where seafood is found. In recognising First Nations protocols, we warmly acknowledge the custodians of Gadigal country and show our respects to the Elders past, present and future, honouring the traditional laws, culture and country of the First Peoples of this land.
Join us this week in celebrating NAIDOC Week. #NAIDOC2018 #BecauseOfHerWeCan

The level of disorganisation of this place, including staff was incredible. No signs or directions from car park to the venue/event. A whole pile of people piled in the lift, it opened on the floor we thought we needed to go to and a staff member was there when the door opened. He had no idea when we asked, his advice was to “get in” the lift. Thanks buddy.

Then I was denied entry due to my handbag being bigger than an A4 sized piece of paper (no where on the ticket or during booking are these entry conditions mentioned), so we had to leave the venue (then fell down the weirdly designed stairs - not drunk either) to go to a special cloak room to check it in. The line was HUGE.

Food only on some levels, so missed the first bit of the event trying to get some food as we’d spent so much time trying to get the hand bag checked in that we missed opportunity to get dinner earlier.

Staff had no idea when we asked them where things were etc.

One lovely staff member (Francesca?) helped me carry drinks and food for our crew to my seat with me at her managers insistance and I was very appreciative of this - thank you, that was very kind of you.

Poorly designed, the whole thing was really disappointing. And finally “Planet Earth”, the event we attended was REALLY disappointing and not worth the $120 per seat for the ABSOLUTE back, on the top most level.
