Let’s work together to produce wonderfully abundant Community Gardens at Inverell. Come and share your knowledge, passion and culture.

Farmers Market now on the second Saturday of each month. Step Outside - Shop Outdoors, buy local, seasonal produce and products straight from the farmer

Fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, baked goods, small animals /poultry, plants and other farmer-produced and /or organic items will be on sale at the Inverell Community Garden’s Farmer’s Market /Produce Swap the second Saturday of each month (Excluding public holidays).

Opening at 8am until 1pm, entry is by gold coin donation per person /family which will assist with operating costs of the market and the garden. Rain or shine, all season long, stall holders will bring their harvest into town for the pleasure of the folks who want to be sure their food comes from the ground around us.

Our members produce their bounty on farms ranging in size from a backyard garden to several thousand acres. Varieties of produce are selected for good flavour rather than the ability to be shipped thousands of miles. You will taste the difference.

Decide what's for dinner as you walk from vendor to vendor, learning what's in season this week, talking to the person who grew it, and learning where and how it was grown.
Over the season you will discover how the local produce season changes, with items coming in and out of season. You will see how the local weather is affecting the crop, and learn the best times for buying bulk for freezing, drying or preserving.

Come and enjoy the atmosphere with others taking a stand on their food, health and local economy. Shop early for the best selection! .

Musicians are also invited and encouraged to attend.

Each market day will include a workshop and /or documentary screening and we are always open to ideas and suggestions!

Interested stallholders are encouraged to contact Gwymac Landcare - 6721 1241. Please see Terms and Conditions at the Gwymac website below. We also note that these Terms and Conditions may change over time and as required. Please check on them regularly for updates which will be highlighted.
