The Irlen Dyslexia Clinic assesses Adults and Children who have visual and auditory processing problems.
Areas of difficulty:
Reading: slow and hesitant, losing position, poor comprehension, letter /word /number reversals, reading avoidance, eye strain, fatigue.
Spelling
Concentration: become fidgety, restless and /or easily distracted when reading or listening.
Light Sensitivity: find sunlight /fluorescent light bright, squint when outside, computer screens /whiteboards bright, headlights /streetlights have halos
Fatigue: after work or school
Depth Perception: have trouble judging distance, may seem clumsy or misjudge objects
Headaches /Migraines
