If I am to be honest my experience at Island Time was very average. We ordered coffee and food and the food took approximately 50 minutes to arrive. This was after asking the staff if the food was coming and seeing people receive their food who had ordered after us. I had ordered the brekky burger which initially came with no eggs and then the eggs came out separately several minutes later which is very unusual.The brekky burger itself was nothing special and seemed hastily prepared which was evident though the application of aioli (just one dollop on the edge of the bread). The mushrooms that I had ordered as an addition were burnt.



I can appreciate that it is a busy time of year but I feel management should have been prepared and had the necessary measures in place to avoid these unsatisfactory experiences. I would expect a better experience from a cafe that is charging 'Sydney' prices. I wish I had just gone to spar supermarket and got food to make at home, it would have been faster and probably tasted better.
