Jamison Hotel

Food is really good at the jamo! Good environment for the kids. I'd like to see the smoking area completely moved from the front entrance.

Great little pub. Very friendly staff with exceptional service. accommodation is great too, very affordable. Highly recommended

Lovely clean and modern rooms, lots of tea and coffee. Very friendly staff. Breakfast already in the fridge. Very comfy bed and terrific shower. Attached to a big pub, but no noise issue and the food in the pub was terrific. Plenty of parking. Shops opposite, petrol station nearby. Lovely area .. they even have blue mountain parrots in the trees. Would have been very happy to have spent longer here.

Well, where do I start?

"Jamison Hotel" hmmm, I think that should say "Motel", because it is nothing more than that, I can assure you.

Checking in; You are required to walk through the front of the pub to the bar to check in, so if you are unfortunate enough to spend a night here, make sure you leave your luggage in the car until you have your room key, in our experience, upon arrival the booking was lost, took 20+min and four staff members to figure it out, paid $270 for two nights at a below average "hotel" with hostel living conditions.
Access to the rooms is via a corridor at the side of the building, which has a feeling that can only be described as "jail" like, conveniently positioned, is the smoking area, which is located between the two buildings accessible by the same corridor, so you can get your daily dose of passive smoke as you open your door. The atmosphere is unsettling and noisy, you can hear people's conversations and noise from two rooms away, and not to mention the pub patrons, my wife did not feel comfortable to walk to the car alone. I regret staying here, and wish I could get a refund.

Food was hot and fresh with a good experienc all around. Order for 8 adults came out very quickly

We can here for a friend's birthday and had a few beverages. The staff were nice and friendly to us and on saturday night this place seemed moderately busy. I noticed they have a hotel section and a kids internal playground area also. There is lots of outdoor seating too. The aesthetic look to the place is very dated and as a suggestion i would look into hiring a interior designer to assist with updating the look of the pub.

Great pub atmosphere with good value food and drink. Family friendly and entertaining for the kids. Great community suopporter
