There are many reasons why you may need the services of a lactation consultant. If you are having difficulties with breastfeeding e. g. how do you know if your baby has had enough, is breastfeeding meant to be painful, are your nipples sore, cracked / bleeding, how often or long should your baby feed for each time or maybe you suspect your baby has a tongue tie or you think your milk supply is low or high or. . .
