Jasmin's Lebanese Restaurant has been opened since the 1980's and is a third generation family owned business. Independently owned and not associated with any other jasmins1 restaurant, it is located right in the heart of little Lebanon, 'Lakemba'.
Having been established in Lakemba for over 20 years, Jasmin's is indeed an icon of Lakemba. People come from all over Sydney to experience our authentic traditional Lebanese cuisine. We are reputed to have the best falafel and garlic dip in Sydney.

The Lakemba eatery’s crunchy golden bites took out best falafel in the Menulog 2018 Summer Restaurant Awards.
More than 500,000 falafels are lovingly made at the Haldon St restaurant every year, and manager Bashir Ghazal, 30, said the secret is what they leave out, not what they put it in.
“There’s none of the canned stuff,” Mr Ghazal said.
“People always say we have the best falafels. But you know they’re made fresh daily and we work so hard for it. It’s all done by hand everyday.”
Abdul Ghazal opened Jasmins on busy Haldon St 30 years ago and it is now run by his three sons — Bashir, Abraham and Frank Ghazal.
It was the siblings’ grandfather, Dib Ghazal, who opened Abdul’s Restaurant in Surry Hills in 1968, that still runs today.
Family lore holds that Abdul’s was the first Lebanese restaurant in NSW, if not Australia.
Over the past three decades, Jasmins’ has grown to be one of the most respected Lebanese go-tos in Sydney and in 2014, won the Good Food Guide award for best food under $30.Mr Ghazal said Menulog’s award means a lot to the family, and the trophy is already proudly displayed on their counter.
“We’re very very happy. It’s good for the business, good for us, good for everyone,” he said.
