Reviews
A must visit and a good experience. We did the imperial caves tour (with 3 year old) and enjoyed it. The guide was really good. Make sure you reach the caves well before the tour time.
We did a tour of Lucas Cave. Our guide Steve was great and the cave was beautiful but 60 people on our tour. Not comfortable and not easy to hear most of the time. 25 would have been plenty. Would love to go back with a smaller group
Lovely place to take family/friends from overseas. For the more adventurous, the caving experience is a must! We loved the caving more than the tours - would not suggest it for kids under 12 though.
The most Amazing(northern) entrance to any location in Australia. A MUST SEE OR DO!
Shangri-la of the Blue mountains. CAVE HOUSE IS MAGNIFICENT and an historic experience. Days to experience it all but great for a quick coffee visit too! You will return.
Great experience. Did the extended orient tour with three caves at night time and was a nice experience, not physically demanding but maybe not apt if you have health issues.
Only problem: our guide got lost in the cave once (was only a few minutes but could have been dangerous) which made us finish the tour late, so she left running after exiting the caves and didn't tell us how to get back to the parking.
Good range of cakes.. they have massive to small caves with crystals... love to visit again
I have been here twice and the caves are still amazing. Huge caves with lots of features in them to see. Very good walking paths with modern handrails. The lighting in the caves is spectacular to look at. Be sure to book ahead and, if possible, get a tour early in the morning as it can get quite busy later on a parking spaces are rare. Don't drive here with a large camper van as the Jenolan Caves road is very steep and narrow.
We had such a great time at Jenolan caves and we went through the river cave. The guide was great and very knowledgable. We were even 5 minutes late and the staff made sure we caught up with the tour! Thanks!
Hidden gem suitable for all ages surrounded by breathtaking nature. The only downside is the limited availability of scheduled tours. Unles you book a tour you won't be able to access most of the caves. However, you can always choose the self-guided tour and walk around at your own paste.
