Jervis Bay Takeaway & Food Store

Had hot chips one day which were good, but then ordered a sandwich on another day, not impressed with the sandwich, supplied with Stale bread, nothing worse

Pity this place doesn't open and close as per their schedule. The shop clearly is advertised to be open until 7pm on Sundays. We parked the car at 6.35pm and the lights were on. We immediately walked across the road and then mysteriously the lights were switched off and doors locked, even though customers were still inside. Really terrible to leave a young family without dinner when on holidays. We had to have pizza for the 2nd time in two nights. Disappointing as we were really looking forward to our burgers with the lot.

Worst food I've ever had to endure giving KFC a run for their money, surprising considering the huge premium they charge considering Domino's pizza is just 3 stores up and other fish and chip shops across the road.

Me and my friends will not be returning, lucky half of my friends decided they wanted calamari and chips and got them from across the road. My burger fell apart (bun was dry as and full holes) before I opened the bag friends weren't impressed watching, my friends fish and chips were horrible he only ended up eating the batter and some of the fish it was attached to and did not touch the chips as they were solid and burnt to a crisp.

My friend thought the young girl serving was rude but the older lady acted like a cliche hand on hip holding my burger on top of my friends fish and chips and a bloody eye roll to boot.

Horrible service, poor layout and food that I would probably end up giving to my dog. Should have walked away like my friends when we saw that the food is prepped and kept out of sight from the front.

Avoid them.

Great fresh food was busy didn't take unusually long new management seems to be doing a good job.Had BLT with chicken yum.Great coffee.

Until recently this takeaway served the best fish burger id ever eaten. New management = shit service, terrible burger. There were no customers in the shop and it took 40 mins. Dont waste your time or money eating here. Very disappointing.
