· Flashback to our recent Open Day when we celebrated our 90th Birthday. After a performance by the "MIx it Up" group we were joined by a troupe of Julie Ross Dancers who popped out of a majestic cake and performed a fabulous routine to introduce our guest Jack Spittles, returned veteran of the Korean War, who shares his birth year with the theatre. Jack helped us pay homage to the origins of the theatre and fittingly cut the real cake, lovingly baked by Kate Walsh. It was indeed a fun day with lots of other performers, sausage sizzle, stalls and tours of all the nooks and crannies of this fabulous building

A day to celebrate this magnificent animal!

Saw Anything Goes musical which was brilliant. So professional. Only downfall was orchestra was on the left side seating on the lower section. It was so loud it spoilt it for those in my group of 26 that were sitting in the opposite aisle. Please put the orchestra back to where it usually is across the front.
