Had exactly the same experience as Lilian, bond was almost completely taken $2000 for cleaning costs?? Was never told about it until it was too late to appeal, Karens words to me when I called her were 'I don't want to tell you how much we've taken out of the bond, you'll get angry with me'. Incredibly rude woman and like dealing with a child. Was never late with rent, no damages to home, no reason for being treated this way. Unprofessional and clearly I won't be dealing with these people again.

The worst property manager Karen from Jim Aitken Valley Height. I rented with Jim Aitken after I sold my property with them. She was so rude and the most difficult property manager I have ever met. When it came to my bond being returned she claimed the full amount and did not inform me. Following my contacting her to inquire as to my bond she made false claims for carpet cleaning and window cleaning. I never saw receipts for this work. I hope you as a renter never have to deal with Karen from Jim Aitken Valley Height. Appaling and deceitful

Terrible property management team! We had repairs to be fixed that waited 6 months and they still did not attend to the them.
When we decided to leave we were told we can't organize our own cleaner for the few minor things left (rip offs) they wanted to hold our bond until they get their own cleaners to clean (mind you, we left the place immaculate) and charge us the rate. They ripped us off with $40 an hour cleaning rate!! Who pays $40/h for a cleaner!?! Maybe we should all quit our jobs and work in the cleaning industry!!

Oh and that Chris property manager is so slow and unprofessional.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is complaining, they are a very ill managed agency! I do not advise anyone to lease with them or put their property with them, your tenants will hate you for it!

My experience with this agent in managing my rental property was not a good one. I certainly did not engage them to sell my property. Not recommended. Please do your due diligence when selecting an agent for either selling or managing a property.

Very very bad. I am from Melbourne and recently moved to sydney. I inspected a property in Jordan Springs and asked the lady if she could let us know about the decision in couple of days so I will go ahead and apply otherwise I will see some other houses as I Qasim only in Sydney for a day leaving my little baby back home. The lady agreed and said we will do it for you so don't worry about seeing any other house and go home. And when I call back on monday morning she is on her day off and another lady called Alison in Glenmore Park is handling it who is super rude but that doesn't bother me. According to me she lacks manners for sure. Anyway she says that it will take few more days and we don't care what your situation is or what other lady told me. Anyway I still waiting till midday and I sent her an email. No response. Then I call back in the late afternoon to tell her that if you can't tell me today then please withdraw my application as I will then take another house which is not my preference but I have no other option and so that you don't have to waste your time and then I tell you after few days that I can't take that house anymore and THIS WOMAN ALISON HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME. Btw I was the only one to inspect the house and it's up again on for ingestion. Also my application was strong enough and I bet they not find anyone better. So Good Luck with that bad service and employee.

Unconscionable scumbags. Literally the worst stereotype of dodgy real estate agents.

When they managed a property I rented, they refused to fix a ventilation issue, demanding I leave ground-floor windows open to avoid mould. I was burgled as a result and told my only option was to move elsewhere.

AVOID.

The customer service of Jim Aitken, Penrith is disgusting. Submitted an application for a property worth $500 a week. All tenants who applied have reliable, full time jobs and earn a combined income of $3300 a week. Never heard anything back. Hung up on me when I called the office to check. It has now been weeks since I've submitted the application and I've since been approved for something bigger and better but I can't tell people enough how shocking this company is. Have some decency and get back to the people who spend time filling out your applications. Not even a "we're having a look at your application" or a yes or no answer, I just keep seeing that more open home times keep going up because they clearly are unable to rent this home out. I've had family who has had the same experience.

Fantastic to buy Property through and great Property Managers. Really helped leasing on my Property in Mount Druitt. Made things smooth. Helped manage defects and pick the right tenants. I would steer clear of agents in and around Parramatta. These guys have experience with big unit blocks and filtering through the tenants who will cause you grief.

Discusting service. Staff are rude including Chris Stone at the Penrith branch. He has lied and being very unprofessional with the intirer experience. The property we signed up for was not cleaned at all, power points were falling off the wall fence falling down a/c full of black mold. We were told the house was fine and to deal with it. We had to take Chris Stone to the tribunal to get our bond and two weeks paid back, due to the poor management of this property. We were not only threatened by Chris as well as his staff, they lied and hung up on us every time we called the office. He has lied to landlords calling us tentents from hell and that we are notorious for taking people to court and do it for a living. Chris has caused definition of my personal character by telling people I am aggressive violent and dangerous and to be careful of me. He has made it his personal mission to make things very hard for us.
Very unfortunate Chris Stone made a person vendetta against us to satisfy his our personal issues. Be very careful dealing with this company especially Chris Stone at Jim aitkin Penrith and Angie at Emu plains.

Recently after seeing this review Chris has continued to attack me by making further threats to take legal action against me if I don't remove this review. He has place reviews on my personal business page to which this matter has nothing to do with. Very unprofessional.
