Jindalee Australian Stockhorses

Jindalee Stockhorses was formed in 1995 when we bred our first foal out of our now deceased foundation mare Rosebrook Cillawood. Cilla was given to us by Steves' Grandfather Tom Clear. With Steve's guidance in the saddle she went on to be a top level polocrosse mare and represented at zone and state level for many years before becoming our foundation broodmare. She produced seven foals over the years. The most notable being Jindalee Synergy who competed in the ASH ring winning at National and Royal shows. She was sashed Supreme Hack at the 2005 ASH Nationals. Cilla's last foal born in 2005 Jindalee Casanova was kept as a colt and is now our resident stallion. He is proving himself in the ASH show ring with wins at Sydney Canberra and Melbourne Royal including Reserve Champion Stallion at Sydney and Champion Stallion at Melbourne. He was sashed Supreme Hack at the 2010 ASH Nationals and was awarded multi champions at the 2011 ASH Nationals. Casanova is only a young sire with his first progeny stepping into the show ring this season. We hope he can continue his success in the coming years. Jindalee Synergy has now being retired to breed on in her mothers sad absence. We also have Talisman Dixie Chick (Star Black Minstril) in foal to Casanova and Rosebrook Petite (Rosebrook Balou, Abbey, Bobby Bruce) who will be put to Casanova this season. All these mares were top show mares and also played State level polocrosse. With our small band of broodmares we will do our best to uphold the Australian Stock Horse credentials. Breeding horses that are Easy on the eye, Easy to get on with and Easy to win with. . . .
