Hailed as “Australia’s answer to the Backstreet Boys” (Huffington Post), this unique boy band have conquered China, East Timor, Taiwan and Ireland. You’ll find yourself dancing as they bring you a rare insight into their island culture delivered with their trademark wit, musicality and charm.
Building on their international touring acclaim, B2M (Bathurst to Melville), are embarking on their first national tour. Come and see this seven-piece band... from the Tiwi Islands as they showcase their new album with its unique blend of contemporary and traditional sound.
Mamanta – meaning ‘friend’ in Tiwi – is a pumping RnB performance, Tiwi style! Incorporating footage and imagery of the Tiwi Islands, Mamanta is a vibrant cultural experience told through a mix of dance, chants and song.
In an historic show of support from the Tiwi Elders, B2M have gained permission to use traditional Tiwi chants and blend them with modern musical elements.

OBVIOUSLY follows four young men and women – of the BFF kind – who live in the same apartment complex and face life and love somewhere in Western Sydney. They’re not above sticking their noses into one another’s business, helping each-other with relationship issues, and dealing with the labels that they are ‘obviously’ something: ‘obviously’ ethnic, ‘obviously’ gay, ‘obviously’ working class. Living in a stream of one-note identities, they find their world is a SITCOM. Obviou...sly!
OBVIOUSLY presents three episodes of the sitcom back to back, performed as one full-length play, inviting audiences to ‘binge-watch’ their new favourite show live!

A physical comedy, ‘Table for Two?’ is a 45 minute egg-and-spoon sprint through the underbrush. The stakes are high, the food is tinned and at the end of it, there might be dessert.
A unique theatre experience full of good laughs, terrible table service and more audience participation than you bargained for, ‘Table for Two?’ takes your order and then forg...ets it, asks for it again and then loses the docket. From Blumenthalian gastronomic experiments to mixological mishaps, prepare to be whisked off your feet and sieved into a melting pot of characters, calamity and caviar*.
Originally developed in residence at the Q Theatre and now served up as part of the Q Indie season at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith, this one-man show is the first solo work for Will Tredinnick. Self-produced, self-devised and self-determined, ‘Table for Two?’ challenges both performer and audience to bring their appetite for a night that is sure to be remembered.

We are seeking a casual Cleaner to assist in the cleaning operations of our theatres, workshop and conservatorium spaces, public areas, back of house and housekeeping stores.
Part of The Joan’s dynamic Venue Services Team, the role will report to the Senior Cleaner and will be required to work on an on-call casual basis. Each call is a 6am to 10am shift. Due to the nature of our business, the shifts will not form a regular roster as such.
