Dawson, the service advisor who looked after me, provided a fantastic experience taking my car in for a service today. He went above and beyond what was expected, which was refreshing to see given my previously poor experiences at this dealership due to lazy, uncaring and unfriendly staff.

Always good to see hard working people who take initiative rather than palm off responsibility. Made my day, thank you.

Have a great experience at John Newell Mazda today! Went there to replace the passenger-side airbag and i chose to wait. It supposed to take 2 and half hour but it was done earlier than that! Dawson was really helpful and it was great dealing with him. I love the environment there! The waiting area is really conducive that i stayed there a while finishing my work on my laptop after my car has done. Thank you Mazda!

My first impression was alright, I had called in to enquire about the availability of the CX9 in stock and was talked to very nicely. The following day I went to the showroom to meet the sales staff I talked to (Ayden), he was polite and received me with a smile, but when it came to talking about the price (while holding my driver license in his hand), he almost snapped saying (there is not much to talk about!!), he closed doors straight away before I even got to say anything, more like "take it or leave it!". I understand that demand for this model is through the roof, but making the point that the advertised price is the final price could have been done in a very nice manner as opposed to saying it that way while handing back the DL.. I was totally put off by the attitude and chose not to ever go back there even if they give away cars for free! JN Mazda is not the only dealer in town, I ended up getting the car for the same price but loaded with accessories worth $1,500 from Sutherland Mazda (where the experience was extremely positive and enjoyable)..It is all about the attitude.

Spotted some blokes and folks out the front ilchayings and munching on them durries like no tomorrow. So I thought that they must mean that busy business.

Good time though I didn't buy because I'm broke.

Bought 2 cars there over last 5 years. Staff friendly, services at reasonable prices. No complaints at all.

Pathetic after sales service. Car is less than 1 month old and have had nothing but issues since the day of pickup. Been to the dealer countless times with no resolution and fobbed off as 'It's normal' sorry, but a car this day and age shouldn't have this many issues. Will not buy or recommend Mazda to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

Upon receiving the new Mazda 3 Ivan went through everything, explaining the whole car and features to me. Couldn't have asked for anymore.

Pash from the sales department was great. Even though I was buying a low-mid price demo model he was very helpful. He was friendly and accommodating to myself and my mum and we really appreciate it. Buying a car for me is normally not a pleasant experience but more of a chore, but Pash made it easy! The other man who took our payment I will say no more than he is exactly what you imagine a car salesman to be like.

I must say that since last buying my car in 2004, I didn't know what to expect. I needn't have worried. Ayden Basal is a professional, courteous, patient and charming man who made the experience easy, smooth and much less daunting than I feared. Many thanks.
