Sheehan Racing & Education is now open on a lovely property which is very close to Newcastle via the Hunter Expressway for easy access. We are also close to Cessnock race track and pride ourselves on good communication with our clients to provide them with the services they need most need for their beloved horse.

SR& E will be specialising mostly in the spelling and training of racehorses with a major focus on educating horses in a way that assists each horse to be able to produce their best efforts on the race track, while also providing them with the basics to be able to smoothly and confidently move into their post racing career.

Re-education of off the track thoroughbreds will also be on offer to assist clients to be able to effortlessly rehome their retired racehorses.

At SR& E we understand that every second we spend with our horses we are training them. With this in mind, our horses become well disciplined and well behaved through consistent and patient training, which always brings out the best in our horses through every lesson, whether that be at home, or on the racetrack. A happy horse that understands what is wanted of him /her will always put in 110% effort, every time!

Owners are welcome to view the property before bringing their horse here, and are encouraged to visit their horse whilst they are with us, by appointment only.
