Kürtősh, Crows Nest

Strange place. Been open for a couple of years. The one thing this place is good for in IMHO is their air conditioning. If it’s boiling outside , it’s so comfortable inside , if even a little too cold.

Moving on , the place is REALLY dark inside. You almost need a torch ! The decor and the strange design of the café is puzzling. Like they started to renovate and ran out of money. Weird and simply does not work in any way. Rather silly really.

Coffee is average and often luke warm. If you are there you feel alone as mostly empty during the week. Used to have reasonable savoury type cakes but now mostly all very overly sweet cakes , nothing else.

I’ll wait till it’s 38°C outside before I wander in there again.

Nice place to have a coffee and a desert. They do some funny bread with a hole inside which I did not try however the chocolate bowl was very good.

In terms of ambience, this is a great place to catch up with friends. Their hot drinks are not good and I don't even like their Polish donuts, to be honest.

Amazing place for coffee and cakes that opens till late. Friendly staffs and wonderful customer service. Keep it up guys! 👌🏼

Nice atmosphere, feels very warming on a cold night. Coffee and drinks are good and the 'donut-like' kurtosh is delicious.

Cakes and the like are quite expensive, although some are very divine, especially the chocolate and cream cheese brownie..

Stumbled across this place after eating Japanese bbq. Their freshly made to order kurtosh is lovely, lightly sweet and crispy on the outside while pillowy soft in the inside served piping hot out of the oven. They also serve cakes by the gram to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth no matter what kind of serving they are after

Really like this cafe. They serve kurtosh which is very yummy pastry and my favourite is Nutella. Their coffee is very nice too. The service is good and the decor is very very special. Highly recommended!

As much as I love your chimney cake, I can't help but rate you guys 2 stars. The quality of your kurtosh goes down everytime you guys are packed (which happens often) and I get burnt chimney cake. This doesn't mean I'm going to stop visiting your place, but just a wake up call. I hope you improve your staffing and procedure because no one wants to eat burnt bread.

Interesting cafe. Left of centre. Owned by an Israeli, French and Italian? And run by Asians. Finally Hungarian chimney cake in Sydney! Good variety if cakes too. Inside is quite industrial so be aware it will get loud in here - the place would do with some sound deadening

Coffee is smooth and creamy. Always got my coffee there when I worked in crows nest. Best part, they have unattended samples on the counter. Their mistake.

Great cinnamon kurtosh (very filling, recommend to share). Good lime meringue tart and mum's chocolate cake. Disappointing cream cheese brownie. Nice environment, open late.

It's nice for what it is. Even the simpler cakes are nice in their own way. Coconut mousse and walnut cakes were tasty! Their special is the kurtosh - a spiral shaped bread pastry covered in sugar syrup and a condiment. They are ok, however nothing special in my opinion.

Awesome cake shop. Great selection of cakes to keep it varied, and or course, their famous chimney cakes. My favourite is the nutella chimney cake with pistachios. Staff are always helpful even when it's super busy
