Our goal at Kangaroo Tent City Tuggerah is to get as many people as possible out and enjoying the great Australian Bush. We hold family values close as we are a family owned company.

Kangaroo Tent City & BBQs have humble beginnings as a family owned and operated manufacturer of canvas products, with their first store on Parramatta Road in Camperdown.
Our warehouse in Arndell Park still has one of the sewing machines used to produce the well loved and well made canvas products, from near 69 years ago.
Kangaroo Tent City & BBQs opened several stores over the decades, including our Tuggerah store in 1995 to cater for the Central Coast.
Not only are we a retailer of camping goods, we are also a community. Our staff members are passionate about getting people outdoors, and providing the best customer service.
We cater to all ages; including cubs and scouts, through school camps, to families going on their first trips, to the experienced grey nomads. Still a family owned and Australian company, we hold family values close at heart.
