The Karate One martial arts studio is one of the only studios in the area that will train 3yr old children, with a background in child care and specialised martial arts training we can get the best out of your children and start them on the right path.

Both instructors have a long history inside martial arts, between them is 45yrs experience and they are both under the age of 30. This is quite a unique situation making it easy to relate to 3yr old and 60 yr olds.

Monday and Wednesday Classes

Rising Star's 6-10yrs old 4. 20pm - 5. 05pm
Superstars 11-15yrs old 5. 10pm - 5. 55pm
Adults 16 + 6. 00pm - 7. 00pm

Saturdays Classes - starting 27th May

Family Class All Ages 9. 30am - 10. 15am
Tournament Training 10. 15am - 11. 00am
Private Lessons 11. 00am - 12. 00pm

All Instructors are MAIA accredited and working with children's checked.

Owner /Head Instructor
Kristy Kirkwood has been training for 24 years with 14 years teaching experience. Kristy has State, National and World titles. Kristy is currently a 4th Dan black belt in Karate and 3rd Dan black belt in Kobudo Weapons. Level 2 Hyper Instructor.

Owner /Program Manager
Alex Kirkwood has been training for 21 years with 10 years teaching experience. Alex has State, National and World titles. Alex is currently a 3rd Dan in Karate. Level 3 Hyper instructor.
