Karen Adler has been photographing things for as long as she can remember. Wherever she’s lived - on a sheep station out the back of Bourke, in the cold, grey winter of Edinburgh, working on a charter boat in the Greek Islands, in the Central Qld Gemfields, at the Franciscan Monastery in Stroud - she wanders off to take photos of the people and the place.

Karen studied a Bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in Photography, at the National Art School in Sydney. She has exhibited her photography in exhibitions and galleries in Sydney, Edinburgh, Central Qld and in the Hunter Valley. Her photographic style includes both traditional and highly coloured contemporary works.
