From the Caribbean to Australia

Growing up in the Caribbean, KARIB's founder Ludo was fortunate to be exposed to a culture full of flavour, aroma, rhythm and life!

With a family passionate about food and a love of sharing meal times together, it was a natural decision for him to become a chef, which would also fulfill his desire to travel.

Traveling the world following the waves, Ludo found a small coastal town in NSW Australia that he soon fell in love with.
The beautiful Northern Rivers soon became his new home and the home of the restaurant ‘Shorty’s’ in Lennox Head which was established with his new found friends.

In his time at Shorty’s Ludo quickly discovered that the most popular dishes were his traditional Caribbean recipes…
And so KARIB was born with the intention of sharing these mouth-watering flavours straight to you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home!
