Katsumi Restaurant has finally opened the doors to the public in October 2017.
Located in the Mortlake peninsula at Breakfast Point in a quite village like setting, just freshly renovated, restored and transformed into a modern & charming Japanese fusion restaurant. It is going to be popular among locals and visitors alike as one of their favourite relaxed, quality contemporary Diners.
With the delicacy of flavours, freshness of food, the professional & attentive service together with an exiting and balanced wine & sake list, Katsumi promises memorable time on every visit.
The dining experience we offer is of high quality, with food and beverages as the shining stars and the relaxed and stylish environment as the surrounding frame.
Our chef Vincent, former Azuma, Kenji Opera Kitchen and Kobe Jones is now creating a unique and exiting spring menu for you to discover, based on the sustainability and quality of the products.
We've chosen the suburbs of Mortlake to bring something fresh and modern in the inner west region. Families are welcome with their youngest early in the evening as we open at 5. 30pm. As it gets darker, candles are lit up which creates a cosy and romantic atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Book ahead our private room (max. 9 guest) as it has been booked out every night since the opening.
Choose to eat and drink al fresco on the terrace if you wish enjoying the fresh summer breezes.
