Kaz Tattooist At Wicked Ink

Karen "Kaz" Griffin is the only professional tattoo artist in Goulburn and currently manages the Wicked Ink store in Goulburn NSW Australia.

Kaz is a self taught tattooist and after completing her degree in fine arts several years ago felt this was her passion in the art world. She also worked as a dressmaker for several years and at one point also had her own clothing label designing and fabricating her own clothing range which included velvet dresses, corsets, capes etc. even venturing out into a children line of comfy pyjamas and sleeping bags.
After her children came along Kaz continued in the work world and after hurting her back, found herself in the position of not being able to move for months on end so focused more on her artistic skills. She then completed a hairdressing course at Tafe which part of that course was cross contamination and disease control, which then contributed to the hygiene health and safety aspect of her tattooing. All these skills have rolled into one and being in the tattoo chair herself getting inked for almost 100 hours, the rest is history.
Kaz has flown in leaps and bounds and was sought out by her now boss Kellie from Wicked Ink Penrith who believed in her from the start of Kaz's professional career.
