Kenya Health operates free medical clinics in Nakuru, Kenya. Clinics are run in slum areas, remote villages and a local prison, as these people barely survive from day to day. Kenya Health supplies all medicines free of charge and supply medicines such as morphine to a local hospice, without which the staff would have no means of alleviating the pain and suffering of their hundreds of patients. In some more severe cases surgery is appropriate. Once funding is secured from donors in Australia, our nurse in Kenya arranges the necessary treatment and follows each individual through the process. Your donation can change lives with 97.5% of donations going direct to our work in Kenya for tax deductible receipts www.kenyahealth.org.

Air conditioning top and bottom at our Total (near Kisii turnoff) clinic today. The generosity of our hosts never ceases to amaze us with a local lunch provided. We gave out lots of clothes to the kids. Saw 306 people.

Clinic in Naivasha. Had a beautiful little three week old patient amongst the 300 people that we saw. We took the opportunity to stay in Sawela Lodge overnight and took any early morning boat ride to do some hippo spotting - love Kenya!

A beautiful sunrise to start the day. We went to Adenaii to do a clinic today. Out past Rongai where there is a Sizalation factory with all the workers huts. We had many little kids waiting for us when we arrived. We treated over 400 patients today.

At the Rongai clinic today we saw a sad little family, the young mum 23 has Down syndrome and had a baby as a result of an assault. grandmother came to us for “family planning” advice. Rosemary fitted a five year rod for birth control. She also gave a days for girls pack to the young mum. We are so happy to help such needy people. Second photo, Ivan loading and unloading van each day. Third photo 2 tables used at clinic being returned to their home. Great week we are all exhausted!

Another long day. We went to a new site at Morocco one hour from Rongai in the foot of the hills very isolated and very basic village life, no cars in village just pikis. Did not knock off til after 6pm. Treated 300 today. A road gang consisting of both men and women, certainly no graders or bulldozers in sight
