We have stayed at “ Kim’s “ many times , ranging from the pool villas up the top , the spa villas half way down to the most basic at the btm . Our last visit yesterday was the most disappointing . The gardens are still beautiful and the setting also lovely but the standard of the rooms and what they offer ( or don’t ) have not kept pace with what they are charging - very disappointing . Meals are again lovely but do not have the wow it use to have .

I would suggest a bit of a shake up & redecorating . It’s the little things , so easy but so lacking here .

The staff of course are still wonderful but it now needs a re think .

Wow. Was totally speechless with our whole stay. What an absolutely stunning, relaxing, intimate place to stay. Our bungalow was perfect & the food was of the highest standard. All the staff were very helpful with any needs. We will be back.

We have stayed at Kim’s before and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the delicious food and the beautiful location. Nothing in the past 20 years has changed and perhaps there is something in that. We have stayed in the tree top room, the outside spa rooms and this time in the simple cabin and feel there needs to be more attention to the little things.
First of all we have neighbours music pouring into our room and we would have appreciated a way to shut out the noice.
No lactose free deserts. All deserts were made from milk or cream.
I would have appreciated the option to have a drink in our room by having some bottles in the little fridge.
A biscuit to have with a cup of tea in the room and a choice of teas
Some fruit in the room would have been good given lunch is no longer served. Charging $45 for fruit and three pieces cheese which we ordered is quite steep.
The iPad charger stand in the rooms is no longer usable as it is now obselete
The food it still fresh, abundant and delicious. I love the buffet and the option to go back and have more of your favourite food.
The service continues to be faultless

The bed is small but comfortable.
All in all quite lovely and a few tweaks it could be exceptional

Fantastic. Great location great fresh food. Staff could not be more helpful. It's not cheap but it's worth the costs. We will return.

Recently spent our honeymoon at Kims and it was perfect:- incredible room, unbeatable location, delicious food & cocktails, topped off by their friendly staff, always makes it an outstanding experience.

We were looking forward to a 10 days stay next month until we were informed "lunch" is no longer available at Kims dining room . What can one say? enjoying lunch and wine at mid day is a very big reason we wished to stay there.
How can anyone enjoy a secluded resort( $1400 a night) stay and not be able to have lunch ?? Kims is surrounded by some of the most
uninspiring restaurants on the coast unless you like a kebab or something that resembles Thai noodles . Sad times ahead for one of our favorites lets just hope they come to there senses and take there customers need into consideration . Maybe not ? maybe the end of a era

Wonderful and relaxing. Food delicious. Staff friendly and efficient

Lovely cabin overlooking beach. Great staff. Buffet-style dining with some excellent choices. Particularly recommend the oysters and sashimi, a variety of hot and cold dishes, homemade ice creams. A perfect getaway.

Lovely staff, good accommodation, great food and way too much of it

Recently attended the restaurant for a lunch midweek. The setting was lovely with a nice view of the beach and the service from the staff was good. The food while it was all cooked well was way over priced for a buffet @ 60 dollars ahead I expected more than soup ,roast beef and battered fish with a variety of deserts .I would describe the food as what you would expect from a n RSL club.

The absolute best place to go out of Sydney if you need some time away but don't want to go too far. Amazing food backed up by some of the best hospitality staff in the business.
