Overpriced. Poor service.

The worst store manager I ever met. She told me that a wobbling leg is normal because it is 'adjustable'. If you ask what would be the solution for my problem, she said the product does not have any problem, but "you" do have a problem. what will be the solution? I asked then. She said " I don't know, I don't work in manufacturing, I don't work for CUSTOMER SERVICE! to be honest I don't know, you can come to our store, and ring the customer service from here."
That will be the treatment you are going to have after YOU PAID 5000 dollars.

I recently took a side table back that had broken. It originally cost $120 and to replace it 2 years later it cost me $260 + a delivery fee into the store $25. I had to pick this up.... I complained as I had an extended warranty but 'oh no' that was for the lounge electrics only how convenient. After me complaining I got a 20% discount on the table and they waived the delivery fee (yes the one into store for me to then pick up). Can anyone tell me if their salary has increased to the extent of the price hike above in 2 years? It is just a cash grab nothing less. The sales assistant was good as I think she saw the ridiculousness of this. The store manager kept her distance from me and let her staff handle my complaint. Makes you wonder.......

Went into King living 2 weeks back and was ready to buy a leather sofa.
The Kind girl said to me there is a sale in 2 weeks if you can wait come back.So I just returned and the lounge she quoted is acutely $200 more.
What a joke, Great Marketing concepts they use on sales, its just a lie.
I Had 5 sales people look at me as I walked out and they said not a thing.
I guess I will spend my $4000 at another business.

Furniture is good, although it's now mostly made in China. It was better when it was made in Australia.

The staff at Northmead are very friendly and helpful, both on the phone and face to face. We were not sure they would still have our details from 3-4 years ago so went searching unsuccessfully for our receipt. We called them anyway and they instantly were able to track our details. We were amazed and very grateful. Apparently they keep records for over 30 years. Now that's alot or records. Well down King Furniture, Northmead.

We shopped in the KL as there was a huge sale after the New Year. Bought a 3 seat leather sofa for $4,500 and delivery was set up for 8/03/2017. Before I paid the deposit, I told the sales woman that 8/3/2017 is not a suitable day for delivery as I work on Wednesday. Then she told me in a very firm way that the delivery day can be negotiated. $ 150 was charged for the delivery.
We waited for 8 weeks for the new sofa to arrive. It turned out as a nightmare. When they called me last week, I was told that Wednesday is the only delivery day for Parramatta Area. I tried to negotiate with them but the answer is that any other days ( any week days or weekends ) will charge me extra $ 100. Actually, I asked to deliver the sofa on Friday or Saturday as I really could not get day off from work on Wednesday. The manager from KL emailed me that Friday delivery requires extra $100 and Saturday is the same.
I stated that:
First of all, I was not told that Wed is the only day for delivery when I paid my 1,300 deposit.
Secondly, I am a working single mother with no relatives in Au. Most of my friends are at work on Wed too.
No body really care. In the email, they call me as a valuable customer. Nevertheless, I did not feel in that way at all. I feel truly that I was trapped in a bad deal. Because I has paid $1,300 for the sofa. I am locked in.
On the other hand, they are really pushing about the payment. They tried to ring me, text me and email me for the rest of the payment before the due day.
I have paid the rest. waiting for delivery.
Ask my feeling? do not go there.I won't recommend any of my friend go there. The furniture might be good, but not the service after you paid money.

I bought Jasper with extra pieaces in jan 2012. Paid extra to choose my own fabric from their rang. Cost me over $12000.
I loved it, it looked very sophisticated.
6 months down the track the sitting cushions and specially the back cusions started sagging. Called them to see why, i was told I need to fluff them and rotate them daily. Mind you they are all big and heavey.
I started fluffing abd rottating them daily. This was helpfull for a while.
I called them again for service and i was told that is how they are. I wasnt happy with that explannation. They took photos of the loung that looked like old elephant skin and they said they would come back with solution. Didnt hear from them.
Jan this year again I called to see why no one has called me without a solution, they said it is outside warranty and they wont do anything for me as if they did when i still had warranty.
The warranty is only 2 years not what they advertise.
Cushions have feather top that breaks down the very first year, back cushions are all feather and imagin if they break down what they would look like. I can swerr not all have the same amount of fill either.
They have suggested to change all the cushion inserts and they ar still to give ma price.
They sais the same thing is going to happen again. I dont know why you would botther.
Would I buy king again not in million years.
If you decide to buy jasper buy it for formal area. They dont do well on high traffic areas.
If I could upload photos I would have so you can see what it looks like after 3 years of use
