Steaks were decent although nothing to blow you away, and I've had my fair share of quality steaks.

Very disappointed with the quantity of food, if your rebuttal would be to call it fine dinning then I'd expect the quality to compensate for quantity (or lack there of).

Certainly would not recommend in a city full of superb dinning experiences, audacious to call it a steak house.

Group booking of 30+, poor waiting service, too long for desert. One small salad between a table of seven as the side dish, six slices of bread with two cheese platters, again between seven on our table. And in general small serves for grown men.

Was recommended by a friend. Love this place and the atmosphere here. Awesome oysters, steaks and desserts. Perfect 3 course meal. Friendly staff too. Will highly recommend the 180g eye fillet. It's small but it melts in your mouth. Plate sizing is a little weird you get a big plate with literally just a steak on it. You have to buy the sides separately but still recommend this place

Awful dining experience. Would not return nor recommend this restaurant. Neither the service nor the food came close to expectations for a steakhouse. Something was amiss the moment we entered the restaurant, the waiter who took our order (named Damien) was rude and hostile and appeared totally uninterested. The service was perfunctory and totally disengaged. When the steaks were served by a waitress who claimed it was her first day at work, she was confused on which steak was for who and how they were cook to medium or medium well, so she got help from another waiter. Damien who was like two tables away overheard the conversations, came and repeated our orders to his colleague rudely, robotically and hastily. Since then, he could not be bothered to refill our water and didn't turn on the heater for us which he initially agreed. I had my mobile phone on the menu and he just took the menu away without even saying excuse me. I was surprised by his manners. Overall, it was a complete disappointment and disaster.

Medium to well done steak came out very rare! still blood red and uneatable. For a high end restaurant this was very disappointing.
The only good things is the service from the Waiter.

Top quality food but a bit on the pricey side. Great location.

The Singapore chili mud crab is why I keep going back. Dipping your bread in the sauce of that dish is something you should try. You'll be hooked. Of course great steaks but that's a bucket list item for sure.

Such a disappointing experience. From the oysters being penut size with bits of broken off Shell. To the steaks being overcooked and they still got the order mixed the second time. The wine was great, I don't think they could mess that up if they tried.

The kitchen really let them down, the service of the host and wait staff was perfect. I don't think I'll be back though.

The waterfront location reflects on the great atmosphere. The food tastes and looks amazing and of high standards, great quality and visually pleasing. They have a wide drink selection to suit all types. The restaurant caters for larger groups as well, staff are also friendly and efficient. The food came out in a reasonably time; time past while we having conversations. Parking was harder to find but all worth it.
Overall, it was a great experience and is highly recommend and will come again.

5 Star Hotel Concierge - I have been sending my guests here for 5+ years, with majority great feedback. one of he best Rib Eye in Sydney. In and outdoor dining available, amazing views, great food ! and helpful staff.

User

Great location and service. The entrees were also delicious, but sadly the steak was a terrible disappointment. My rib eye was dry and charred, other steaks around the table had a similar fate.

The food are wonderful, I'm fancy for their wine selection. Dessert is awesome. And is a a must to go when you are in Sydney.

Firstly the good - the oysters are brilliant and so are the mushrooms (side dish)

Now the bad - we both ordered eye fillet steaks, one medium and the other med-rare. The medium came out rare and the med-rare was blue (I'm pretty sure it "mooed"). We informed our waiter who offered to re-cook our steaks. When the steak was returned from the kitchen it was like chewing through coal.

Our waiter was apologetic and took one of the steaks of the bill.

The biggest issue here is that a high end steakhouse couldn't cook steak. My advice is to look elsewhere if you're looking to go to a steakhouse as there are plenty of top quality restaurants in Sydney to choose from.
