About Kinship

Kinship is a NSQHSS accredited nursing service which offers the comfort and safety of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and chronic disease infusions in a patient's own home. Patients have a range of funding options, including private health insurance or self-funded. Kinship is a Hospital Substitution Treatment (HST) service and currently offers administration of over 30 medications in accordance with more than 60 treatment protocols. All treatments must serve as a substitute for an episode of admitted hospital care. The Kinship service includes: - Liaison with patient from referral through to appointment- Compounding and provision of medicines - Attendance by fully credentialed, experienced nurse- Equipment and consumables - Disposal of all clinical and cytotoxic waste- Emergency medicines (hypersensitivity and anaphylaxis)- Reporting of each visit to specialist, and with other healthcare team members as required /appropriate- Scheduling further appointments and ongoing service provisionKinship is provided by Nuevo Health, an IQVIA company, which has been operating successful nursing programs and services for almost a decade, combining experience with innovation to deliver quality you can trust.
