Som Moo translated as Sour Pork is a Lao style preserved Pork Sausage 🐷 I made this at today’s Masterclass with one of the best Cooks I know...my Mama ❤️ It can be eaten as is or grilled when ready or put into my fave Rice Dish...Nam Khao 😋 It is traditionally made in a Mortar & Pestle by pounding Garlic, fresh ground Pork, Salt, Sugar and cooked and finely sliced Pork Skin until it becomes a thick and sticky consistency. It’s then tightly wrapped and stored in a cool dry pla...ce until it’s preserved and ready to be eaten!
