Kloster Ford

Wowsers. If you want some top level service. This is the place to go. Bought a used 🚗. The extra effort Tim with his team did to work around our hectic life. Drove it to us to test drive and also delivered to our home. The bonus free year warranty and capped service Klosters offers for used cars is also a plus.

I bought used mini from there. But it doesn't have log book. And I ask for log book. They told me service history on the car screen loooooooool. "Very nice" explained.

I was impressed with the concierge Maddy, but not so much with one of the salesman, which I advised Maddy and asked not to deal with him.
Process of purchasing the car was good, I was aware I had to wait for the car I wanted, but after signing the contract there wasn't any contact with me to keep me upto date unless I instigated it. At which time I was told "I was going to ring you today".
Once my car had arrived in the country the process was quite good, and delivery day was good, all things explained and I was shown how to access the technology.
I have since had a follow up call to make sure all is well, which it is.
Very happy with my car.

Absolutely love these guys. Never been to a place where I have felt so welcome and comfortable. Greeted by Maddie as I walked in the door of the showroom who made e feel right at home (makes a pretty handy Latte I might add too). Total experience was 5 stars. Went to 2 different Ford Dealers in Sydney who were underwhelming. I guess you would expect nothing less in city like Sydney. If you want a great price and true customer service - give these guys a go.

I am in the transport industry and buy alot of vehicles. New car/truck purchases in Sydney amount to 8 at this point.

I originally looked at buying locally at Ford Zetland but the people were basically brain-dead, lazy and incompetent to say the least. Nobody wanted to move a car so I could test drive the van. I had my finance pre-approved even! I then looked at Ford Rockdale (both in Sydney) which gave me good service, but they just couldn't match the deal that Kloster Ford gave me.

Communication with Kloster was 10/10, their price and service 10/10. I would highly highly recommend Kloster ford as they are transparent, easy going and very responsive and straight to the point. None of this rubbish red-tape BS you get from other dealers trying to screw you. And on top of it all it's cheaper than buying in Sydney.

It's how it should be, you tell them you want to buy a car, and they sell you one. Trust me, it's not like that everywhere else!!!

Worth the train ride up to Newcastle that's for sure.

(this review was initially 2 stars - see revision below) I bought a Holden VE Commodore with LPG from Klosters in 2015. Car was reasonable price and it has run well. However - 2 things with regard to warranty. The salesman said the car was in such good condition with low kms they were including a free 3 year warranty. The windscreen had a small crack in it which Klosters said they would fix as part of the deal.

1. The windscreen was repaired after I picked it up, but unfortunately it made the crack get larger requiring replacement. Klosters offered to go "50/50" on the replacement. I refused citing the note I had requested on the contract that it be fixed or replaced. They ended up paying for it.

2. A week after taking the car home I found the free 3 year warranty was not in the paperwork. Called, they apologised and said they would put it in the mail. Have called twice more and have not received the warranty. Suggest you get the warranty in your hand before signing the contract.

REVISION - A week after I posted this the new manager from Klosters called and apologised about both issues above. He got the warranty papers together and mailed them to me and offered free safety service. Apparently salesperson involved no longer working there.

This is one of the best dealerships I have ever been to. I was in the market for a ranger at the time and had tried another dealership the day before and although the salesman (different dealer, not Kloster) was ok I didn't feel all the confident/comfortable to make a purchase. The next day we went to Kloster Ford and from the moment we walked in we were well looked after and we both felt super comfortable, not just from the (fantastic salesman) but everyone we spoke to at the dealership. I would recommend Kloster Ford to anyone in the market to buy a ford, don't bother with other ford dealerships around just go to Kloster! Love it. Fantastic job from the service department as well.
