Knights is serving up hot, house cooked meals, ready to take home and serve.
Available from 3.30pm daily. Please note, if placing an order, your order must be in by 3pm on the day of pick up. Orders are not essential, but highly recommended.
Monday: Creamy Chicken, Bacon & Mushroom Penne... Chicken with Knight’s Hampden Bridge bacon and fresh mushrooms mixed through penne in a creamy brie sauce.
Tuesday: Corned Silverside (GF) Family favourite tenderly corned silverside served with creamy mashed potato, greens and parsley sauce.
Wednesday: Chicken Everest (GF) Made from scratch by our Chef, this fragrant Nepalese curry is bursting with flavour with over 13 different herbs and spices.
Thursday: Roast Pork (GF) Our Chef's roast pork is undoubtedly the original and the best in town. Served with roasted potatoes, creamy potato bake, greens & gravy.

What's for dinner this weekend? How about these extra tasty Caramelised Onion Beef Sausage Rolls............... 20g butter 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 brown onions, thickly sliced... 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 thyme sprig, leaves removed 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 ½ tablespoon white wine vinegar ¼ cup beef stock 400g sausage mince 500g Beef Mince 1 cup breadcrumbs (made from day-old bread) 1 egg, lightly whisked 3 sheets puff pastry, just thawed, halved 1 egg, extra Pistachio dukkah or sesame seeds, to sprinkle
Melt butter and oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add the onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 mins or until onion softens and begins to caramelise. Add the garlic and thyme. Stir for 1 min or until well combined. Add the sugar, vinegar and stock and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 mins or until liquid evaporates and onion is very soft. Season. Set aside to cool slightly. Preheat oven to 200C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Place onion mixture in a bowl with sausage mince, beef mince, breadcrumbs and whisked egg. Use your hands to combine mixture. Season. Divide into six portions. Shape 1 portion into a 3cm x 24cm log. Place along 1 long edge of 1 pastry rectangle. Roll to enclose. Repeat with remaining mixture and pastry. Whisk extra egg in a bowl. Brush over pastry. Sprinkle with dukkah. Use a small serrated knife to cut each log crossways into 5 small rolls. Place on the lined trays. Bake, swapping trays halfway through cooking, for 30 mins or until golden brown and cooked through.

Ordered online, cost on pick up was $30 more then estimated... mince was $9.95/kg when i ordered, but on pick up was charged$15.95/kg. Am guessing the 'sale ended' i wouldnt have ordered if i'd have known the sale was likely to end between when i placed the order and pick up. Extra pack of thick sausages supplied that werent ordered, perhaps miscommunication.
